PITTSBURG, Kan. — At Wednesday’s meeting of the Neighborhood Advisory Council (NAC), members shared stories of how their neighborhoods are starting to come together through hard work and perseverance. In one, it was discovered that a neighbor had recently lost her mother, with whom she walked every day. Now that she is living alone, the neighbors check on her periodically.
