Miners Hall celebrates 13 years

PITTSBURG, Kan. — Long-time supporters and members of the Miners Hall Museum gathered at the Frisco Event Center in Pittsburg Thursday night to celebrate 13 years of service and education by preserving the mining heritage of southeast Kansas. The evening started with a social hour, followed by dinner, prepared and served by the Pittsburg High School Kay Club. Board of Trustees Chair Phyllis Bitner delivered a few remarks, and the Girard High School Reflections provided entertainment for the evening.
