GIRARD, Kan. — Live Well Crawford County Executive Director Brad Stroud paid a visit to the county commissioners Tuesday to bring them up-to-speed on what his organization is doing in the county to promote healthy lifestyles and choices, particularly among teenagers and young adults. Since its founding, Live Well has built greenhouses and community gardens in McCune, Pittsburg, and Arma to compensate for food shortages. Live Well also sponsors several programs to promote healthy living, all of which are interconnected.
