PITTSBURG, Kan. — With the 40th Annual Little Balkans Days now over, the future of the weeklong festival may be in limbo. Angela Meyer, the Little Balkans Days president for more than a decade, has stepped down and from her festival coordinating duties because she will have her hands full serving as the Kansas Bar Association president starting in 2026 and managing her newly opened retail store, The Well Traveled Chef. “It’s been a bittersweet week,” Meyer said in a message.
