Kite Festival a big hit in Pitt

PITTSBURG, Kan. — Although it started off with some light rain, the Kite Festival at Pittsburg High School on Saturday steadily gained momentum. As the skies cleared, more festival goers began to pour in. At no time was there fewer than 100 people on-site as people came and went in a steady flow.
