PITTSBURG, Kan. — Administrators, school board members, staff and families of the Southeast Kansas Interlocal 637 came together at the Frisco Event Center Monday night to recognize staff milestones, exceptional staff, and to celebrate the retirements of long-time educators. Teachers and para-educators were recognized for their years of service, including the Morning Sun’s own columnist Char Strong, the GenX Girl, for her 20 years teaching English at the Learning Center in Girard. Recipients were awarded a certificate noting their years of service.
