PITTSBURG, Kan. — Community members packed the lower level of Memorial Auditorium Saturday morning to consume pancakes, catch up with each other and support local children. With hours of musical entertainment, a free craft area, Santa on site, good food and people to share it with, the Kiwanis Pancake Day was an annual fundraising event that welcomed people of all ages. For some, the well-made pancakes and sausage for a reasonable price draws them to the event.
