PITTSBURG, Kan. — With the help of the Kansas Department of Wildlife, and Parks, Pittsburg Parks and Recreation hosted its first family fishing night at Lakeside Park since the COVID-19 pandemic. The next fishing event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 17. District Fisheries Biologist Connor Ossowski provided poles, hooks and bait to persons who wanted to fish.
