GIRARD, Kan. — Despite the cool and gloomy weather that blanketed Crawford County, Saturday, spirits were high, and laughs echoed throughout the grounds of Harrigans’ Barn for the return of its spring market. Typically held in the spring and fall, Harrigan’s Barn is a one-day sale of vintage, antiques, farmhouse equipment, junk, salvage material, repurposed items, gearhead scrap, and food at the barn located just north of Red Wutke Ballpark on the east end of Girard along S. Sinnet St. The event, however, is more than just a barn with a farmers' market-style setup.
