LINN COUNTY, Kan. — A Girard woman was seriously injured in a crash involving a semi-truck on Highway 69 in Linn County on Friday evening, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. 33-year-old Courtney A. Harrison of Girard was driving northbound in a 2018 Chrysler 300 on US-69 shortly before 7:30 p.m. Friday when she lost control of the vehicle about two miles south of the intersection with K-152, an east-west highway that runs through Lacygne, causing the vehicle to spin. A 2016 Freightliner truck driven by Tulio C. Figueroa, 44, of Carrollton, Texas, which was also traveling northbound on US-69, then struck Harrison’s vehicle head-on, according to the KHP.
