GIRARD, Kan. — Throughout the afternoon on Friday, community residents and Girard business officials visited Girard High School's (GHS) Jack E. Shireman Auditorium to vote for this year's Trojan Entrepreneurial Challenge winner. Held for approximately six years, the event is funded through the NetWork Kansas and E-Community partnership, empowering student businesses. “It is an opportunity for students to think of a new business idea, or a new product and then start building on that,” said GHS Business Instructor Beth Wilson.
