PITTSBURG, Kan. — After being dormant for a few years, Pittsburg State University art students have resurrected their art club, and this week they are selling handmade items to raise funds. When Senior Thomas Grover took a Ceramics I class over the summer, he enjoyed it so much that he asked Mayumi Kiefer, head of the ceramics department, if some of the students could create a ceramics club. Kiefer and Grover talked to the administration office and were informed that a club, University Art Association (UAA), was already in the system, but had been inactive for three or four years.
