GIRARD, Kan. — The Girard Area Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas, is once again focusing on "preserving traditions for those who follow," as its annual grant cycle began this week. Announced Wednesday, the grant cycle is open until 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025. The annual single competitive grant cycle is typically held at the end of August or beginning of September, as the Girard Area Community Foundation invites local non-profit organizations serving the Girard area to apply for funding for their projects.
