FRONTENAC, Kan. — After eighteen months of being closed the Ol’ Glory, 5007 Parkview Drive, is back up and running with brand new features, unveiling an automated car wash tunnel. Travelers can’t miss the big red, white and blue building when driving into Frontenac on U.S. Highway 69, and soon they will be able to see the 30-by-50-foot American flag flying once again on the 120-foot pole. Owner Skip Hale said at one time the pole was the tallest flagpole between Kansas City and Texas.
