CRAWFORD COUNTY, Kan. — Anglers of all ages and ability levels are invited to take part in the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks (KDWP) yearly Free Fishing Weekend on Saturday and Sunday, June 1 and 2. No license is required for the tradition, aimed at providing an opportunity to introduce someone to the outdoors and the joys of angling. While no license is needed, all other rules and regulations still apply such as creel and length limits.
