PITTSBURG, Kan. — This week marks the 20th anniversary for Paint the Town Red, an annual tradition that celebrates Pittsburg State University’s first home football game of the season. The weeklong event, organized by the Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce, runs Monday, Sept. 8 through Saturday, Sept. 13. “Follow the Crimson and Gold” is this year’s theme, which was inspired by The Wizard of Oz.
