PITTSBURG, Kan. — Saturday proved to be serendipitous in terms of weather and venue for the Rotary Rocks Out Hunger event. The community showed their support, and the Rotarians raised $4,700 for The Lord’s Diner, which was double funds collected in years past. “I think whether people came out because they are passionate about feeding the hungry, or whether they came out simply because they love live music, it was a win-win situation,” Event Organizer Jon Bartlow said.
