PITTSBURG, Kan. — The fourth annual Festival of Trees begins Saturday at noon inside the Mirza Temple at 110 W. 5th Street in Pittsburg. The event began years ago after the local Mirza Temple noticed fundraising efforts from Temples across the Midwest area. “We had seen other organizations and other Shrine Temples use that as a fundraiser and also a community event,” Mirza Temple recorder Darrell Orender.
