Daycare duo pleaded guilty to child endangerment

PITTSBURG, Kan. — Two women pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges of child endangerment from an incident that occurred in 2024. According to previous Morning Sun reporting, at approximately 12:20 p.m. June 27, 2024, first responders were dispatched to a residence on Thomas Street in regards to a 4-month-old that was not breathing. The family stated the infant, Benjamin (Benny) Cannon, was swaddled and left unattended and unbuckled in a bouncer seat.
