PITTSBURG, Kan. — Pittsburg State University's Department of Automotive and Engineering Technology has acquired a new piece of agricultural technology for its students to study, thanks to the generosity of a major manufacturer and an appreciative alumnus. In contrast to the weather outside, Wednesday afternoon, spirits were high in the Crossland College of Technology (CTC) as officials from the university and Case New Holland unveiled a one-of-a-kind T6.180 Methane Power Tractor. With a nearly $300,000 price tag, the new equipment was donated by PSU alum Kelly Burgess, a regional aftersales manager, on behalf of Case New Holland.
