GIRARD, Kan. — At Tuesday’s regular meeting of the Crawford County Commission, County Grant Writer Gus Brunetti briefed the commissioners on the status of on-going grants the county has applied for and what is going to be available soon. In short, it’s a waiting game. The Rural Health Care Outreach Program, meant to reduce transient recidivism in impoverished areas, was applied for through the Restorative Justice Authority earlier this year.
