GIRARD, Kan. — Mike Bodensteiner, the former executive director of Greenbush who has been assisting the Crawford County Commission with distributing COVID-19 relief funds, appeared before the commission Friday to break down the county’s efforts on child care and other infrastructure projects. Due to the pandemic, the county was infused with over $7 million dollars of relief funding, and has been using the money to address several issues, chief among them being child care. Bodensteiner first addressed the issue of equity.
