PITTSBURG, Kan. — After weeks of Red Flag Warnings that kept local fire departments busy putting out fires, Crawford County’s burn ban is being allowed to expire. Officials remind residents, however, that local restrictions still apply and any burning should be done with caution. According to Crawford County Emergency Manager Quinton Parsons, the county’s burn ban ended at 8 a.m. Saturday, March 22.
