ARMA, Kan. — After a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Arma Community Choir Christmas Cantata will once again be performing at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church this Sunday. What started as a mixer event for the St. Joesph Catholic Church and United Methodist Church during the ‘70s in Arma has turned into an annual fundraising event that benefits children in the area. Director of the local cantata group, Mike Doue, first started with the cantata in the 1980s when he was in high school.
