Commission declares Dr. Triplett Day

PITTSBURG, Kan. — On Tuesday, the Pittsburg City Commission honored a founder of Southeast Kansas Recycling with a day in his name. Dr. James (Jim) Triplett’s wife, Shirley Triplett, accepted the plaque in his honor. “It was really a well-deserved recognition,” Southeast Kansas Recycling President Jeremy Johnson said.
