PITTSBURG, Kan. — For the past 17 years, the Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce has empowered women by recognizing influential females of the community through its annual Women in Business Breakfast and Women of Distinction calendar. On Friday morning, the chamber celebrated 13 women who have each made an impact on the community. Attendees of the annual Women in Business Breakfast were treated to a spread of eggs, bacon, sausage, homestyle potatoes, and fruits catered by Sodexo and donated by Pittsburg State University.
