Children playing with a parachute at Camp Now and Then at the Lincoln Center. Pittsburg Parks and Recreation hosts the camp when USD 250 is out of session, but all children from ages 5 to 12 are welcome to participate in games, crafts, and playtime. Recreation Programs Manager Josie Maples said there is no technology allowed, that the program is designed for socialization and to let the young ones “be a kid.” The next camp is scheduled for Jan. 3 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
