Burn ban in effect over weekend

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Kan. –– The Crawford County Emergency Manager Quentin Parsons has issued a burn-ban in Crawford County through Tuesday, March 18. Pittsburg Fire Chief Taylor Cerne, in conjunction with the county, has also announced a burn ban within the city limits of Pittsburg. Violators will be fined $500.
