Shawn Bugni will take over as Crawford County Treasurer on Monday. He will take over for Joe Grslano who has served as treasurer since 2004. Bugni has served as assistant treasurer for the past four years and will complete the remainder of Grislano’s current term.
GIRARD, Kan. — After 39 years of service to Crawford County, 22 of that as Crawford County Treasurer, Joe Grislano announced his retirement on August 21, 2026, effective on November 1. The first is Sunday, and a new treasurer will be sworn in Monday morning by County Clerk Lisa Lusker.
