PITTSBURG, Kan. — It all started 18 years ago, when Victory Life Church offered free haircuts for children in Pre-K through twelfth grade. The event had around 30 kids in total during its first year. Fast forward to 2023, Pastor Donnie Talent and Victory Life Church, with the assistance of numerous volunteers, have helped grow the event to where it has hundreds and hundreds of children in attendance with bucket rides, dunk tanks, hot dogs, police department and more, all of which is free.
