PITTSBURG, Kan. — While the Pittsburg Police Department made the same number of arrests as the previous week, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office arrests increased slightly. From Aug. 31 to Sept. 6, the sheriff’s office made seven arrests, five more than the previous week. Deputies also responded to 213 calls for service, conducted 90 traffic stops, assisted 15 motorists or community members and took 21 reports.
