Arma finalizes water contract

ARMA, Kan. — After months of meetings and adjustments, the city of Arma and Rural Water District No. 2 have reached an agreement on its contract for water supply. On numerous occasions, the council has met and talked with representatives of the local water district, looking to come to an agreement on water rates and water usage in an the effort of “supplying water to consumers within the boundaries of its district,” which is west of the Arma city limits in areas like Ringo and Camp 50 and stretches all the way down to the west side, outside the city limits, of Pittsburg and Frontenac.
