ARMA, Kan. — Last week, representatives from the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) visited Northeast High, in Arma; Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Frontenac; and Pittsburg State University, seeking public input on the best possible design options for the U.S. 69 Highway corridor. As part of Monday’s Arma City Council meeting, councilman Bob Lauck addressed updates regarding the meeting that he attended at Northeast High School on Thursday, Feb. 27. “I was there for the presentation and the discussion of what they are proposing to go down the bypass at Pittsburg and they had things scheduled in the low, medium, and high priority,” Lauck said.
