ARMA, Kan. — The Crawford County area continues to showcase its holiday spirit with a handful of musical performances, events, and parades. The Christmas celebrations continue this week with the annual Arma Community Choir Christmas Cantata. Scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, the event takes place at the Arma United Methodist Church, located at 313 E. Main St. An established tradition in the Arma region, the annual Christmas Cantata originally appeared in the early 1970s as a mixer for the United Methodist Church and the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
