FORT SCOTT, Kan. — The first and only fully accessible community park in Fort Scott will be open for the summer thanks a grant provided by Aetna Better Health of Kansas, a CVS Health company. The 50 x 50-foot splash pad and sensory park on the west side of Skubitz Plaza, off North National Avenue, in Bourbon County is anticipated to open in July 2023. The park is designed to be easily accessed, with no physical barriers to kids and caregivers enjoying the park.
