GIRARD, Kan. — With Tuesday’s meeting the only one scheduled for the week, county commissioners heard presentations from the SEK Area Agency on Aging (SEK AAA), Pittsburg Area Young Professionals (PAYP), and bought much needed parts for a bulldozer. Kathy Brennon, executive director of SEK AAA, briefed the commission on her agency’s work in the region. SEK AAA supports residents 60 years and older and their caregivers to maintain an in-home lifestyle.
