PITTSBURG, Kan. — Last week, Pittsburg Police Department, Pittsburg Fire Department and Crawford County Sheriff’s Office experienced an overall increase in calls for service, traffic stops, arrests and reports. From Dec. 7 to 13, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office responded to 360 calls for service, conducted 174 traffic stops, arrested 15 individuals, assisted 35 motorists or community members and took 37 reports. The total number of all activities increased by 9 percent.
