100 years ago September 10, 1926 Girard, Sept. 10. - Close to 200 persons crowded into division No. I court room in the courthouse here this morning to hear the preliminary trial of John S. Miller, former Girard butcher, and J. H. Vincent of Girard, who are charged jointly with arson in connection with the burning of the house occupied by Miller last March.
