College to enroll 1,500 on first day

The jollification which marks the marks the national holiday has as its centers in southeastern Kansas, Arma and Pittsburg, where thousands are holding forth enjoying the elaborate programs which have been arranged. From early this morning, crowds have been answering the call and lend their roles to the festivities in both cities, and at noon, with promise of more amusement during the afternoon.
