‘Clearings of banks show big increase’
100 years ago September 30, 1926 Salient facts in the financial life of Pittsburg are pointed out in figures compiled today by Harry B. Kumm, secretary of the Pittsburg Clearing House Association. Increase in bank clearings for the year ending today over that of the 12-month period ending Sept. 30, 1925 is $7,002,000.
