PITTSBURG, Kan. — What started as a moment of volunteering for the Special Olympics to get out of class in high school has led to a career-defining role for Lieutenant Chris Moore. Moore will finish his second three-year term as the state director of the Kansas Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) in January. Even though he is stepping down from a leadership position for the state, he is looking forward to another opportunity with the organization.
