Pioneer Harvest Fiesta makes one last ride

The Pioneer Harvest Fiesta in Fort Scott has featured steam and early gas engines used in a variety of agricultural endeavors for the past 70 years. This year will mark the last year of the event.
FORT SCOTT, Kan. — In 1956, a small group of people shared an interest in antique farm equipment and getting together to work on and improve said equipment. At some point, they realized it would be fun to show off the equipment and teach others how farming activities used to be accomplished. And just like that, the Pioneer Harvest Fiesta was born.
