PITTSBURG, Kan. — The Crawford County Historical Museum is celebrating Kansas pioneers during the month of September. On Friday, September 11, the museum is hosting a living history experience for area schools with hands-on history. On Saturday, visitors of all ages can come and experience a skirmish set during the turbulent years of ‘Bleeding Kansas’, visit a Wild West town, meet Buffalo Soldiers, experience Native American history and much more. The museum opens at 9 a.m. for this special event.
