PITTSBURG, Kan. — As graduates prepare to line up for commencement, summer projects are lining up for USD 250 to get ready for next year. At Monday night’s Board of Education meeting, Chief Operations Officer Tom Stegman briefed the board on bids for roof repairs at George Nettles Elementary, a new roof at Pittsburg High School, and repaving the parking lot at the middle school. At George Nettles, the roof needs repairs, not replacement, to address some old storm damage from 2012.
