Pittsburg authorizes $6m in bonds

PITTSBURG, Kan. —The Pittsburg City Commission heard a proposal Tuesday evening to authorize the issuance of $6 million in industrial revenue bonds to establish a daycare facility at the former Washington School at 205 S. Locust. J.T. Klaus, an attorney with Triplett Woolf Garretson, presented to the commission how the bonds would be raised, funded, used, and paid back.
