The Mount Carmel Foundation has announced that at its Rio Carnival Gala two weeks ago, the nonprofit was able to raise roughly $118,000 to support Ascension Via Christi Hospital staff and patients. The foundation also raised $20,185 for its upcoming Dispensary of Hope project.
