FPD announces ‘Click it or Ticket’ campaign

FRONTENAC, Kan. — The Frontenac Police Department, along with departments across the state and country, is on the lookout for drivers who are not buckled up through the remainder of the month. In partnership with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the campaign aims to increase seat belt usage while reducing traffic fatalities by combining education and enforcement. According to the NHTSA, 91 percent of drivers used seat belts in 2024.
