PITTSBURG, Kan. — The Pittsburg Fire Department saw a 41 percent spike in incidents this past week. From May 12 to 19, the department provided basic life support in 12 situations and investigated 15 incidents. Personnel controlled one fire and extinguished a fire during two incidents.
