Today is September 11th, 2026. It’s been 25 years since that horrible day. The memories are still vivid as I sit and reflect on what has happened since and what keeps coming to mind is a mantra I used to write on the whiteboard for my students when I was teaching: “In life, you will experience a few defining moments. It is up to you to decide if those moments define you or if you define the moments.”
