PITTSBURG, Kan. — Early last month, the Crawford County Mental Health Center announced receipt of a new grant for veteran suicide prevention in the amount of $442,016 to be used to build out a veteran-centric space. Christened ‘The Hub’, the new facility will serve southeast Kansas veterans by gathering needed services under a single roof, such as counseling, suicide prevention, and VA medical and disability claims.
